Do I need Life Insurance?

The short answer: YES. If you have loved ones who depend on you for support, YOU should strongly consider getting life insurance. But, don't buy a policy just because you 'heard' it was a good idea. This is a very important decision and one not to take lightly. Life insurance is designed to provide your family with financial security when you pass away.

Don’t think of life insurance as a vehicle that will only become valuable when you die. Think of it as a tax-savvy income source you can hold onto and use for your entire life. Buying into a policy early or buying one for your children can have incredible financial benefits for your family for generations.

Have you considered what would happen to your loved ones without

YOUR contributions?

Would your family be able to continue their way of life as it is today?

How does Life Insurance work?

In its most basic form, when you purchase a life insurance policy, you are entering into an agreement to pay premiums in exchange for coverage in the form of a death benefit to your designated beneficiaries.

Have you considered what would happen if you had a major health event or accident, AND did not die?

Life insurance has changed from the days of old. You have options to customize your policy with various features and additional benefits based on your financial needs and goals. Some features, known as Quality of Life or Living Benefit features, allow you to use some of your life insurance proceeds while you are still living should you experience a critical or chronic life changing event.

Would you be able to survive financially what you physically survived?

Common Myths & FAQ's

  • "I don't need Life Insurance, I have it through my Employer."

    • Group life insurance through your job can be a convenient option. And, in some cases, you can take the policy with you when you leave. BUT, make sure you read the fine print! The coverage you had for free or low cost may increase significantly when you leave. TALK WITH AN AGENT, to know your options.

  • "It's too expensive."

    • No lies here, the older you get the more insurance costs rise. This is why it's best to purchase life insurance at a younger age. However, there are affordable options for everyone. Don't assume. You won't know for sure until you ask. TALK WITH AN AGENT, to know your options.

  • "I have health issues, will I qualify?"

    • This is a loaded question. While not all health issues qualify, we cannot accurately say who is accepted & who isn't until we do a needs analysis with you. Once completed, we can review the options available to you. Again, TALK WITH AN AGENT, to know your options.

  • "I Don't Have Kids, So I Don't Need Life Insurance"

    • There are a couple of ways to look at this statement. Whether you're married without kids, or you're single and don't have kids, you can still benefit from life insurance.

      • First, if you were to pass away unexpectedly, your spouse and/or family could be left having to cover certain debts, like student loans. There are also funeral costs and final expenses to take care of.

      • Second, life insurance is a great way to help supplement for a TAX-FREE retirement. Wanna know more? TALK WITH AN AGENT, to know your options.
